What is WordPress?

What is a WordPress Theme?
WordPress “Themes” give you extra layers on top of the core WordPress functionality, both changing how your WordPress site looks on the front-end, and enhancing the WP-Admin area with additional features. For more information, check out the “Using Themes” page on the WordPress codex.
Do ProGo themes work on WordPress.com websites?
No. Due to restrictions of WordPress.com sites, ProGo Themes only work on self-hosted WordPress sites.
How do I install my ProGo Theme?
Once you have your Hosting all set, with WordPress installed, just log in to your WP-Admin area, and go to Appearance > Themes. Click on the Install Themes tab, and then click the link to Upload your new theme. The link to download your theme’s zip file from ProGo.com is sent to your Billing Email Address upon purchase. Alternately, you can un-zip the file you downloaded, and upload the new folder to your website’s /wp-content/themes folder.

What is “WP e-Commerce”?
WP e-Commerce is a Plugin for WordPress which adds all sorts of Ecommerce functionality to your WordPress site. The plugin is available for free, and lets you create Products, set up Taxes and Shipping info, connect to Google Checkout or Paypal, and then some. Additional features, like additional Payment Gateway support, and additional shipping methods, are available in for-purchase Plugins. Can I use my own domain name with your themes?
Absolutely. Each ProGo Theme is meant to be installed on your own custom domain and hosting account. If you do not yet have Hosting set up, check out our Recommendations.

What are the requirements for installing a ProGo theme?
WordPress Hosting Requirements :
• PHP 4.3 or greater
• MySQL 4.1.2 or greater
ProGo Themes also recommends :
• Linux Hosting, rather than a Windows environment
• The “mod_rewrite” Apache module
What types of payments do you accept?
ProGo Themes can be purchased with a Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express.
Do I need to pay any monthly fee to use your themes?
No. After a one time purchase and download you will never have to worry about being charged again for your theme. You will even continue to receive FREE theme updates as new features are added.
What type of support does ProGo offer after I purchase my theme?
ProGo has a dedicated team of designers, developers, and marketers offering support for their themes. If you can’t find the answer to your question here in our FAQs, you can submit an inquiry directly to ProGo, which will be answered within 2 business days. Forums are coming soon.
